CARS HISTORY
We believe that every car has a story…
We are proud to operate in an "old-fashioned" way by being the owners of our entire stock, which allows us to restrict our research and purchasing to models that fully meet our standards. We offer cars with clear and great Authenticity. Getting a single certificate paper from the Historic department is important but we are going further with a research for original document, letters, log book and pictures of the car during its all life.
Every time we’re on the lookout for an Alfa Romeo, we’re not only looking for the right model, but above all we go looking for stories. Passionate men and women take care of their cars for years, as it represents a sentimental value, many having been family cars for years. Some owners have used and abused their cars to satisfy their passion for motorsport, and we aim to carry on these sporting pedigrees.
Often these historical vehicles, regardless of whether they have a racing past or not, have traveled across continents and are now scattered around the world, making them difficult to find. This is the beauty of our business:
We do not sell just cars, but also the fascinating stories associated with them.
Each of our Alfa Romeos carries a story of its own, and we seek out only the most beautiful vehicles with the richest pedigrees possible. Often, over the years, these stories become distorted or fall into oblivion, and thanks to our research team and external network, we’re able separate the wheat from the chaff to reveal the true history of a car.
Our daily life revolves around the search for a car’s origin and its various previous owners, family photos around the car, old racing results and photos of its participation in renowned competitions. Hunting around for original documents and vintage accessories are incredible adventures in their own right. All this research feeds our passion for these beautiful forgotten Alfa Romeos. On rare occasions, this research turns into a treasure hunt when a vehicle that has been forgotten for many years turns out to be a real star of its time with an exceptionally successful racing past. Sometimes we even manage to find and meet the former owners who have driven and sometimes won races with their car, who are able to provide us with original documents and forgotten photos.
As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, and hunting down photographs of cars from a specific period is a vitally important part of identifying its past and preserving these cars for the future. There are only a few specialists with well-documented, significant photo libraries. Clients, some of whom have owned their cars for many years, are often surprised that we can discover photos that were thought to have never existed.
All these stories are ultimately stories of passion and passionate people, and our main mission is to transmit and prolong this enthusiasm. That's why we also want to warmly thank the men and women who have helped us put the puzzle pieces together to uncover stories that would otherwise have remained buried in the past.
Thanks to:
