Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Rosso Amaranto

According to Alfa Romeo Storico, the production date was 1970, March, 12 to the Italian market. The car spent all its life in the South of Italy and in the same Provincia and city, Taranto, the car still own its first registration numbers, TA 100 440. The first owner, Cosino Ciracira, born in 1916 in Talsano and living Res Piazza Manfredi, keep the car more than 30 years…(1970 – 1998). He sell the car in the same town to another Alfa Romeo fan, Sofio Sequenza, who keep the car till 2009. Cosino Ciracira, the first owner, was a real Alfa enthusiast and ordered his Giulia with quite all the options available :

-Twin Dell’Orto 40 carburators,

-« Super » version dashboard with Hellebore steering wheel,

-Double Carello front lights and « Super » front grill,

And he also ordered the very rare and nice leather « Cinghiale » interior wich give this car a wonderfull charm.

The car comes in its original Amaranto body color and the combo with its leather interior is one of the best available for a Giulia Sedan. The third owner, Angelo Salvemini, bought the car in 2009, use it only some months and leave it inside his garage, without using it… Accompagning our car is the original Carta di Circulazione, with all correct stamps, as well as the original Handbook (Included key serial numbers…) and the original Service book. Comes also with the car, original Jack, tools and two sets of the original Alfa Romeo keys (With correct numbers …).

Staying all its life in South Italy and well preserved, the car never suffered any corrosion or damages, and the panels are completely perfect with the factory spot-welds visible in the correct places, and the « secret » Alfa Romeo factory original body numbers still visible in the rear bootlid. Only the body was repainted some years ago in its original Amaranto matching color, all lights units, chrome, and stainless steel finishes are original, including all Carello lights…

After purchasing the car, we did a total check and mechanical restoration:

-Engine, gearbox, diff have been overhauled with new internal parts, engine mounts are new one,

-Clutch and clutch master cylinder are new (SACHS),

-Cooling system has been restored with new hoses,

-Electrical system has been restored, keeping the original Bosch distributor,

-All castor ball joints are new,

-All suspension busches and rubbers are new,

-All track rod ends are new,

-Braking system, disc and pads are new…

-Exhaust system is new,

-Original steel 15’ wheels are equipped with new Vredestein Classic 155x15 tyres.

The restoration is well documented with all invoices and pictures coming in the car’s file. The car drive perfectly with all components working.

-Alfa Romeo Storico Certificate of Origin,

-All invoices and pictures from the restoration,

-Some original period correct documents and magazine,

-French Technical Inspection,
